我的家乡并不在南京，而是在和江苏省挨着的安徽省，而我也不在什么大城市，而是在滁州的一个名为拂晓的小村庄。当时的生活十分艰辛，完全感受不到现在的幸福与温馨！
那时候，幼儿园几乎什么都不教，整天沉浸在玩乐之中，上小学了，但我家附近却没有小学，因为我家只是在一个大队里，小学在街上，也就是拂晓的中心。到处都是黄土路，路程又远，想骑自行车去上学，又刚好在离家不远的一个必经之路上有一个接近90度的上坡，上完后是一个接近90度的下坡，这一切条件都决定了不能骑自行车！而且学校没有食堂，还要跑回家去，然后再去上学！春游更不用说，免谈。学校也没有纯净水，只能用铁桶打井水喝，学校还是落后的电铃。教学楼破烂不堪，操场全是水泥的，乒乓球桌也只是一张石桌上放几块砖头，操场只有巴掌大，下面是一堆沙子，学校后面有一个很脏很脏的河。每个班只有一个教室，所有副课除了体育都不上，直到三年级都不教英语。也没有电脑，跟别说信息课。回家时一旦遇上下雨，路上到处都是黄水，浸泡了的黄泥奇滑无比，走在上面随时会摔倒。看电影在当时也十分少见，只有在规定时间里会在教室里的银幕上放！
我第二次回家乡是在五年级的寒假，当我到家时，一切都变了。黄土路变成了水泥路，学校开了食堂，盖了好几幢新教学楼，华丽无比，信息课等副课也正常开展，操场搬进了真正的乒乓球桌，小车从校门口一直开到家门口，电影也开始在电影院看了。教学楼从单调的白色变成了鲜艳的白红色，代表了上进与积极，让人充满了奋斗精神，但家园的路依然十分陡峭，只能坐校车来快点到家，学校后面的河也重挖了，重新灌上水，放上许许多多小金鱼苗，加上一些水草，就成了学校里的生态鱼塘！
